Jessika is our Office Manager and brings with her seven years of executive and administrative experience. She is responsible for managing client invoices, billing, business expenses, as well as all the behind-the-scenes management responsibilities needed to run the firm.
Jessika graduated from California State University Sacramento with her bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. She is a powerful force in the workplace and uses her positive attitude and happy-go-lucky energy to encourage others to work hard and succeed. Jessika is in the process of becoming Trauma Informed Care Certified and is very passionate about helping others and expanding her knowledge to do so.
She is inspired daily by her husband, their baby girl, and two dogs, Potato (Golden Retriever) and Belmont (Standard Poodle). In her free time, she loves to spend time with her family, enjoying the great outdoors camping, fishing, and hunting. She also loves to be in the kitchen baking and cooking up a scratch-made meal.
Christina joined Layla Cordero Law in 2025 as a Legal Assistant, where she provides comprehensive administrative support to the firm’s attorneys. She serves as a compassionate point of contact for clients navigating family law matters. As a Certified Trauma-Informed Care Specialist through TIC, Christina brings specialized training in understanding and supporting individuals experiencing crisis, ensuring every client interaction is handled with empathy, respect, and professionalism.
Having personally navigated divorce herself, Christina deeply understands the emotional and practical challenges clients face during some of life’s most difficult transitions. She combines her strong organizational skills and creative problem-solving with a sincere mission to uplift and empower women, helping them find clarity and confidence through the legal process.
Outside the office, Christina is a devoted mother of three and enjoys spending time with her family, designing and sewing clothing, and attending San Francisco Giants and 49ers games. A lifelong learner, she is currently enrolled in the University of the Pacific’s Paralegal Studies Program. She also finds balance through journaling, meditation, reading, and weightlifting; practices that keep her grounded and inspired to bring her best self to both her clients and her team each day.
Lily is the welcoming face of our firm and has been part of the team since 2023. As a dedicated student, she balances her academic commitments with providing attentive, friendly support to our clients and staff. Lily is known for her warm demeanor, professionalism, and natural ability to put people at ease from the moment they walk through the door.
Outside of the office, Lily is an accomplished llama and alpaca show competitor and has earned numerous awards through her dedication and hard work.
In her free time, Lily enjoys thrifting, spending time with friends, and snuggling with her dog, a pit bull mix named Sugar.
